NFTs - A New Digital Economy for Artists
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are creating a new digital economy for artists and are now gaining notoriety. They are becoming an increasingly popular way to buy and sell digital artwork.
My artwork is available on various platforms for collecting and selling in the NFT markets. Currently I’m offering two series - the Platinum Series and the Astro Series with more to come as I release additional images from my portfolio and collections.
Platinum SERIES
Platinum SERIES
The Art of Night Platinum Series consists of notable images and time-lapses from my collection. These include my award winning images and world firsts. The Platinum Series starts from 2.5 ETH, and each of the collectables includes a signed print with a certificate of authenticity to the first collector of each piece of art.
Moon Silhouettes
People gather on the Mount Victoria Lookout in Wellington New Zealand to take in the view of the city below. But on this particular evening, the moon rose right behind the lookout revealing the silhouettes of the onlookers. This image won the prestigious Astronomy Photographer of the Year People and Space Category.
Three Worlds
Rarely seen before in a photograph - an over/underwater scene shot at night with the Milky Way rising overhead. Three Worlds is the result of my obsessive passion to successfully pull a shot like this off. It’s based on an idea I had back in 2017, and I’ve been inching towards making that a reality ever since.
ASTRO SERIES
ASTRO SERIES
The Art of Night Astro Series consists of a wide range of images and time-lapses from my collection which I’ve photographed and created over the past decade. The Astro Series starts from 0.195 ETH to make it more accessible for collectors. However as the series begins to sell out and new images are added, the floor price is increased, so it’s best to get in early on this series.
The River Crossing
This image was one of those unexpected and unplanned shots which I happened to stumble upon as I headed back to my car after a session of photographing the night sky. The Milky Way was soaring high above the landscape and reflecting beautifully into the river below. The whole scene was quite surreal, so I set up my camera to capture that moment in time, and then stood there taking it all in before heading home for the night.
3AM At The Gap
At 3am the Milky Way shines brightly above The Gap at Castlepoint, as the nearby lighthouse illuminates the surrounding landscape. Castlepoint is on the south east coast of the North Island of New Zealand just a few hours from from the capital city of Wellington.
Heavens Above Palliser
Cape Palliser Lighthouse on the southeastern tip of the North Island of New Zealand, lights up the surrounding landscape as the Milky Way shines ever so brightly behind.
The Dark Web
A unique perspective of time-lapse and a web at night.
Night and Day
Bouncing forwards and backwards in time between night and day. This night to day time-lapse was shot on the Wellington South Coast of New Zealand.
